Before we present the Plan for the Organized Play Season 2026, I want to take a look back and recap the last year of competitive Thrones.
For casual meet ups and to keep you folks playing, we still had the Game-Night-Kits availabe and provided them with beautiful alt arts. We will continue to provide these next year and hopefully gonna announce the first one early in the new year 😊
For more competitive play we had a Regional Kit available and several Online Tournaments were organized by the community to give you enough opportunities to fight against or alongside other community members. To mention some, we had the World Cup, 8 Regents, 7K and of course the Friendly Open Series and the Champions of Westeros League.
Thanks to everyone who is part of the organizing teams of those and all the other Events!
On the next level I’m pretty happy that there were several people organising National Championships all around the World.
Thanks a lot to all the TOs and other volunteers involved in those Events. You keep the game alive!
And by now its kind of a tradition already to crown two World Champions a year. One in the Online World and another one at the place that became the centerpiece of Tournament Play for so many Thrones Players, the Castle of Stahleck.
It was of course the biggest tournament of the year again and the number of participants has increased in comparison to last year which is crazy!!!
Thanks again to the Stahleck Crew for still doing this and hosting Worlds.
Overall I’m pretty satisfied with what we achieved this year but I can already tell you that I’m confident we gonna top it next year!
