It’s that time of the year again — Stahleck is right around the corner, and this year we’ve cooked up some special prizes!
Before we get into the new stuff: last year’s Tower of Joy Draft Set was a total success! We saw record-breaking draft participation as well as many people opening packs and trading foils. So we thought: Now that we have the know-how for foils and booster packs, why not make even more?
Debuting at Stahleck 2026, we’re adding Prize Packs to the rewards lineup! These are randomized booster packs like the Tower of Joy Draft Packs, but they aren’t for drafting. Instead, each Prize Pack contains 5 foil promo cards from among the full history of the second edition, starting with the Core Set and up to the current cycle! Many of these are FFG-era cards that will be available for the very first time in the GOT frame, featuring new art.
There’s no gameplay designed around Prize Packs; they’re purely a collectible. However, like any conventional promos, Prize Pack cards are fully legal to play in constructed formats. The Stahleck alt art policy will reflect this: whatever cards you open, you can sleeve up and play right away!
Now, the full card list will remain a secret until Stahleck, but here you can have a little teaser for what might be included in such a pack…
Prize Packs will not be available for sale and can only be earned by playing the card game in person. So if you want to get your hands on foils and alt arts of some of the most iconic and powerful cards in the game, make sure to register for Stahleck 2026 now! Each player will receive multiple packs by simply participating in the main events, and more will be available all weekend in side events. This is an opportunity to bling out your decks with beautiful foils, or just trade with other players and try to collect all of them! We hope to see you at the castle!
