Do you want to become part of the amazing fan run operation keeping this beloved card game alive and kicking? If so, then the Global Operations Team for the A Game of Thrones card game is looking for volunteers to help us keep the dream of A Game of Thrones alive!
The Global Operations Team is an incredible collaborative effort from fans of the card game from around the world. Our mission is to manage the fan-run continuation of the classic A Game of Thrones card game. We have two teams, the Card Committee and the Community Committee, and together we are the backbone of the Global Operations Team.
The Card Committee is the group that handles the big picture of the card game, such as the design vision for new sets, as well as managing the restricted list. This committee is made up of passionate players and dedicated fans who are well-versed in the game and its mechanics. They are the ones who come up with creative new ideas for cards and game scenarios, and they are the ones that ensure that the game is balanced and fair.
The Community Committee, on the other hand, is the group that handles organized play, tournaments, and articles, advertising, and social media for the group. This committee is our vocal arm, the one that reaches out to the public and keeps them informed about the game and its updates. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to become part of this team, and help us to spread the word about the A Game of Thrones card game. The Community Committee in particular needs a few more dedicated folks right now.
As a volunteer for the Community Committee, you would have the opportunity to become part of a passionate, collaborative team that is dedicated to promoting and preserving the game. You would have the chance to help design and execute exciting tournaments, write articles and social media posts, and even create and maintain relationships with members of the gaming community.
You will also have the chance to contribute your ideas and opinions to help shape the future of the game. This is a great opportunity to get involved and make a real difference in the future of the game.
We understand that volunteering can be a big commitment, and we are very flexible when it comes to the amount of time you can commit. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to a few hours a month, or more depending on the activity. We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we are willing to work with you to make sure that your involvement is meaningful and enjoyable.
